my first “REAL” creation on Computer 1999 !

this is a screen shot from my first creation ” as i can remember ” , it was an elctronic phonebook for our home contains the numbers of our family and neighbors , done in V.Basic Language…WHAT  a days….now we are 2011 !!
Oh yeaH..! i do this word ” DALYEL” on word 1997:D and print screen to Paint Brush & add the final touch 😀

Update – August 2025

After being away for so long from my home town, i was able to take a long vacation to give a visit there. During my vacation i visited what i call the “relics house”, which is basically an old house of our family that contains a ton of things that back to my childhood & early career life. During my digging in there, i found an interesting WD HDD that i shipped with me after the vacation. While investigating the files in there, i found the entire Visual Basic project for that app with the latest successful build 2003, and surprisingly it ran just fine on my 2025 Windows 11 PC (apart from some weirdo text in the toolbar).

Named “DALYEL 2” which means it is the updated version of the original app!
While some files still back to 1999, but the most recent version of the app was updated in 2003 as it seem
btw, “DALYEL” is the Arabic word for “Index”
